Anca Daniela Frumuselu

Anca Daniela Frumuselu is a Serra Húnter lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures, Universitat de Lleida, Spain. She holds a Bachelor Degree in English and Romanian Language and Literature from University of West, Timisoara, Romania (2008); a Master Degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from Rovira I Virgili University, Tarragona, Spain (2010); an International Double Doctorate in English Language, Literature and Culture from Rovira i Virgili University, Tarragona, Spain and in Educational Sciences from University of Antwerp, Antwerp, Belgium (2015); and a post-doctorate in gamification and m-learning from Rovira i Virgili University, Tarragona, Spain (2019). Her research focuses on teaching English as a foreign language, intercultural competence in virtual exchanges and study abroad, on the use of didactic audiovisual translation in the EFL classroom, and on the use of new technologies, e-learning, m-learning and gamification as didactic tools.  She is currently applying virtual exchange methods at university level and investigating learners’ intercultural and global competence. She has participated in European Erasmus KA2 projects and I+D+I Spanish project-funded projects related to her field of research.
